European Skyline is something like black snow. Without any doubt the best skylines are in North America and Asia. From the cities I've visited the best skylines are New York, Toronto and San Francisco.
From the cities in Europe I've visited Frankfurt definitely has the best skyline. I actually also like my the skyline of my own city: Rotterdam. It lacks hight, but it's one of the prettier skylines. The a nice density of high rise building in the city centre next to the river. Moreover there are some great pieces of architecture. I love Paris, Vienna and Londen but definitely not for their skylines. They have their high rise on the edges of the city. I might add up to a lot of meters but it's not really "part" of the city. The Madrid an Milan skyline are quite OK. I also do not like the Barcelona skyline. And Benidorm may have some high rise, it's ugliest attempt I've ever seen. I wanna go to cities like Istanbul, Warsaw and Moscow. But I don't really have an opinion yet. off topic: Although Valencia doesn't really have much high rise, I would consider it Europe's top city for architecture. |

Rotterdam deffenetly needs a few 200 m buildings or even higher...our highest tower 165m is nothing compared to the ones in the rest of the world!
there are some plans for towers in the coming centrasl district(180/240m) but when they will be build nobody still knows!! |

SO143's post shows that Paris is out of reach for the rest of Europe and
even 1 million of sentimental votes for other cities won't change this. |
