how will you justify the BIG difference in price of the lower box and the patron seats to the consumers knowing that the only difference is a "cement wall"? economically mahirap sha explain.. pero ako, sa akin lang, enough na to add 1 more row on each die ng retractable seats.. that for me is enough kasi mejo i have accepted na that the divisions have its purpose.. 1 more row lang i think solve na ako.. then extend retractable up to the end sa courtside (NOT the retractable seats behind the goals) para maximize space.. and about the centerhung scoreboard, ok na sa akin kahit na hindi talaga 8 sided but what i suggest is yung logo lang ng SM ang ilagay dun instead of MOA Arena and SM.. and i hope it looks something like this... image hosted on flickr ![]() ako ito lang.. but overall i am happy with the arena |

They could always go for railings instead of a solid wall for the division. Then put up gates for access between the lower box and patron steps, not hard to lock those.

"Pinoy style seating". Haha! If they couldn't do anthing about the dull gray paint, they should just at least adjust the lighting. Not too bright on the spectators para matago ang oddness ng arena. I really don't know what the officials are thinking. They really can't replicate international arenas, or to say the least give an NBA "feel". How sad. We young guns here at SSC could have done a better job than them. They just do now know how. And I hope they tidy up the installation of the basketball net or just bring back the original ones from Spalding. How unprofessional talaga tayo. All these are a disgrace to architecture, design, and aesthetics. I hope we bring in better designers in the future.
To those who will bash me for these statements, I tell you frankly, sayang lang kasi, they could have done everything perfectly and not be ignorant on simple matters. I have a batchmate who does arena modifications from the NBA 2k game franchise to the PBA 2k. I am a designer, studied ergonomics and aesthetics, so we know what we are talking about. Sorry for ranting but, irita lang talaga ako. Our knowledge here is very far from our neighbors abroad. Look how ugly those grays are. Too bright, kitang kita to the very end of the rafters pati ceiling. Very bad lighting indeed. Tsk

i agree, they could have done better,...but we can only critisize, they have the money.
in my own humble opinion,..MOA Arena is still a good Arena. but not at par with any NBA Arena,..but with its design, they can still improve it, like, flooring outside playing court, ceiling, the big for the rich people's division, lightings, they can even add some balcony like the boston garden if they want to. What looks ugly to some, is good enough to others. Pwedeng hindi sila nasasayangan sa kinalabasan, for the simple reason that the outcome of their hard earned money looks beautiful to them. Stop whining.

Thats it nga! Yan nga yung door na nakita ko! wala pang paint nun pero iisa lang yan sa other side ng hallway ng mga dugouts. Sa tapat nila yung 4 na dug outs alam ko nasa dulo yan. Katapat either ng sports room 1 or sports room 4

Yup! Ganyan din sa staples pero syempre mas mahaba yung hallway and medyo pa curve dun. Mas prone na mag kagulo ang players sa hallway ng MOa lalo na after an intense game. Ang nakikita kong solusyon dito lagyan nila ng door yung hallway between dugout 2 and 3.

![]() yup students, as well as alumni. Kung magpapa-proxy ka, they have to get the authorization letter and valid IDs na rin, mahirap ng pumila ka dun tas pagdating mo sa booth eh wala ka namn dalang ID. Expect those scalpers in front of the ticket booth early as 5am, though i dont know kung papayag na ang MOA na magpapila ng ganun kaaga. Now i miss the ticket camping during ADMU-DLSU games at SAC, hahahaha. this will be a different scenario. mukhang wala pang open na malapit na Jollibee sa Moa Arena kung pipila ka na ng 5am dun,
