No we just stuck with 3 bottles of the white. I had a serious hangover today. For me White wine is only good for cooking and Sangria's.

I LOVE pot stickers! First sprinkle the preserved ginger slivers over, and then the chili oil!!

Supposedly the best culinary trip advise to anybody like me with regards to Asian food will be: visit Vancouver and have YF and Vanboy as your culinary guides!

Oh one has also the ability to turn dead dry frizzy hair to a beautiful Farah Fawcette look!

Next trip: Vancouver :-)

Kobe beef!! It looks delicious.

Today I made a huge batch of a meal that I always enjoy eating during the summer: a bouillis! My family has always cooked this dish in the summertime using the best and most fresh vegetables. Very simple: you slowly cook a mix of meats which usually are chicken, beef and salted pork (during the cooking, the salt in the pork slowly diffuses within the juices and it creates a fantastic sauce). Finally, at mid point during the cooking process, you add beans, carrots, potatoes and cabbage. It is not elegant but so damn good!!! The goal is to have a lot of sauce in order to mash the carrots and potatoes into it!!

YUMMMM to both of the above!!

Fish n' Chips, yesterday evening at The Caledonian (College and Ossington). They use delicious home made julienned french-fries instead of traditional chips, and fresh Haddock. That magnificent, mouthwatering delicacy on the left is none other than Haggis!!

So much for the ol' diet!

Not that you don't deserve it for all your hard work of course.
