it's not old pheonix opened in october .This was done post it's opening .ORion is bigger than Pheonix if we want we can measure both the malls in terms of breadth, height and length .then compute volume of both malls

Pheonix is smaller than Orion ,ORion is built on 5 acres .Pheonix is approx 3.5 acres

Even though Orion is good and huge ,it does not have the look of mantri square.

Phoenix is better than Orion.

Avinash Bro....Thanks for all the hardwork...I guess you have solved everyone's dilemma...

Clearly shows that while Orion might be better in terms of look and feel and technology, Phoenix is the "Go to" place when it comes to shopping, entertainment and dining (FYI, Copper Chimney and Noodle Bar fitouts are in the process at Phoenix and both qualify as fine dining options)..

Guys, once and for all lets thank Avinash for the effort he has taken to quell all our doubts about Phoenix and Orion...both jewels in Bangalore's mall space...

It's like 20 maruthi 800's==1 large truck

all the small stores are equivalent to one debhanhams .Most of the stores are 250 sqft .While Debhanhams has close to 60000 sqft .Central has 1 lakh sqft ,Food Court is 60000 sqft ,.Westside has 40000 sqft .Even PVR and BLU-O have leased 1 lakh sqft ,Time zone has leased 25000 sqft ,Star Bazar has leased 1 lakh sqft .Fact is Orion is branded as Lifestyle Mall.If you don't know what a lifestyle mall is i can't help it.

Debhanhams + Central+Star Bazar + PVR+BLU-O+Westside+TIME ZONE +FOOD COURT=4.6 sqft

Apart from Pantaloons 40000 sqft in Pheonix ,PVR and BLU-O have leased 60000 sqft .All others are smaller stores

Lifestyle mall is a shopping center aimed @ upscale customers with large concentration of food ,dining & Entertainment .

Fact is Orion has larger stores compared to mantri and Pheonix

Hence Mantri has 225 stores
Pheonix has 150 stores
Orion has 110 stores
If you guys equate number of stores with square feet of a mall i can't argue.

If you check mall of America it has less number of stores than it's peers however it is the largest mall in USA.

You can earn same money by selling 100 Maruthis and 1 BMW .It is how you wanna brand yourself in the market that matters

Fact is Orion is a more popular mall then Pheonix.you can check the official FB pages of both the malls

Now don't tell me People in Whitefield don't use FB as it's banned in Most IT firms

Don't Argue for the sake of arguing support your argument with facts

One thing to keep in mind is that Orion still has around 15 stores(spaces) that haven't yet been leased out
