Mihin lanka flight to colombo on 6th sep is in waitlist now. most of the colombo flights from trichy between end aug & 1st week sep is almost full.
This time am going to use trichy airport both direction.
Is it possible to get call taxi outside trichy airport to travel chettinad?
can anyone provide Trichy call taxi numbers because airport taxi charged me last time 1400Rs for non AC ambasador.

Many call taxi s are available for usage, call CALL TRICHY no. 04312777777 and get a no. I used the no. Some time back. Just give a try.

Thanks for Sharing. Then now UL 14x and MJ 3x. Hope UL increase the frequency. But if any arab airline starts then the need for CMB would reduce.

Obviously. But still people would prefer UL in return direction because of baggage allowance.

guess not true! myself&colleagues fly with UL regularly on business to gulf cities due to it's full carrier service provisions, such as IFE,spacious seatings, meals,baggage allowance,lounges,hotel accomodation, priority passenger benefits etc...........thus, many of us do not wish to take budget services like mihin&aie unless otherwise during peak seasons due to last minute bookings.

fyi, afaik most people prefer UL due to it's full services when compared to budget airlines. in my opinion, many foreign based workers' purchasing power had been increased many fold since, and hence, the need&demand for more improved&better services from the airlines, though there are many taking budget airlines in trichy for variable reasons, or under no choice rather.

srilankan prefer by all mihin is none ahead of srilankan even for some other cities wont get srilankan airline services in these time of ages .First class service of my srilankan is not equate before air india or the tier 3 airlines spicejet srilankan makes trichy proud by its service

lets us focus on TRZ updates and developments apart from dragging unusual discussion here. Personally i felt Srilankan airlines has some limitations in their connectivity by connecting only Europe and Asia. Still we need a transit flight to Americas and Oceania with one stop ahead. Wish Srilankan connects CMB with America and Oceania after the upgradation of A340 into 777 but before that if TRZ gets a direct connectivity with any Gulf airliners like Qatar or Etihad then it will go easy for TRZ to connect globally with one stop ahead. Recently we were getting only the direct media and indirect announcement but still There is no announcement officially through the airlines centre. before some months ago there is a news about qatar airways and silk air plan of connecting TRZ in a Tamil daily but god only knows what happens to that plan?
Myself badly waiting for official announcement from any airlines regarding new destinations to/from TRZ.
