^Sure, sometime this weekend. PMad's drawing should answer any question related to the current height.

Besides, look how much progress, they have made.
DCM is going to work 8hr shift tomorrow, weather dependent. Forecast for this week is thunderstorms almost every day in afternoon.

^You always bring the good news Alan.Thanks.

I still can't wait until that day comes when Good Morning America pans down on Lower Manhattan showing a completed WTC complex, just like they use to with the old WTC complex.

Also, they are working tommorow, will more steel be added in the morning?

The second image posted by Arctic Howler respectively. Is that the new design of the entrance to the One World Trade Center?

Word was they were waiting on steel; that was the reason for the delay. Looks like they got the steel.

I'm hoping that upon its completion, if not earlier, the WTC will once again be a happy place and proud symbol of NYC, rather than one marked by mourning and emotional sensitivity. Good Morning America would be a good place to start indeed.

Thanks for the cool pics KenFromJersey.
Agreed, but with the cladding there will be no challengers of its dominance.
I think there will always be a certain sensitivity too this but i also am confident that the world trade center can live up to its past greatness.
I also have a feeling that by the time 1wtc is completed more potential tenants will start to show interest in the complex.

All is left is to install the horizontal bars between these columns and the building will be officially considered topped out.

So sometime next week or the week after that.

^They're called spandrel beams and the "official" topping out will occur when the beacon is installed.
