So i think alot of people wanna see my WTC buildings posted soon. Truth is i wont post them soon because im waiting for the facade of all 4 buildings to go on because i wanna make sure it is accurate. But stay tunned for updates! Next model i think will be 7WTC at night. I redid the lighting and will make it much more accurate!

Looks alittle to crazy (to much colors everywhere). Sometimes when one wants to make something look realistic they can get carried away.

And good luck waiting to release your models on waiting for all 4 of the buildings to get their cladding because you sir, will be waiting until approx. 2014 or 2015 until you even see revitalization at WTC2 and the performing arts center because in their current state, they are now on hold.

Haha yessss. Well i mean if it was just one yellow color like that last one i showed it would seem boring. I think i looks much more realistic and not as boring as the other one. How would you say i should do it??

And haha well either that or maybe facade samples as construction continues. I mean the facade of all 4 buildings its the same except for how the colums are and the extra touches that they put into it. Like i just wanna see where the colums will be placed. And as for 2WTC i know it has like tiny fins coming from the top to the bottom.

Actually none of the facades for any of the buildings are the same because they are manufactured by different companies, but even if they were made by the same company they still wouldn't look the same. Each tower including tower 7 is unique in their own way by height, shape, distinction, and cladding. None of them look the same, they don't have the same floor height, and they were not designed to look the same. Just because they are all made of glass doesn't mean they look the same. Thats like comparing 2 steel structures such as the Tokyo Sky Tree and the Eiffel Tower and saying they look the same just because they are both made of steel. See what i'm getting at?

And Idk how you should make the night time version 7. The reason we don't really make night time versions is because our models are not big enough to make night time versions because each floor has their own distinct lighting, and we would then have the make the models out of real glass or glossy paper and then place lights in them at night. Paper model buildings are usually meant for day time examinations, not night time ones.

Yeah i gotcha. And yes i just meant the glass. I mean their very similar. For example 1WTC and 4WTC looks almost indentical.

Lol I don't think led's would be suitable for the scale we are using Otie, XD they would just light up the whole entire model! XD And NL is right they are harder to make.

is they can make micro chips they can make LED lights

I would suggest you guys to consider make something more than paper models, your ability to go with the smallest details can help produce fantastic models (a skill I lack). Try someday with a smaller scale (bigger models) and venture to the richness of materials! I insist, LEDs are the best to create night scenes. I made an ESB model with them and they satisfied my expectations.
