i have to disagree you Bezben simply because i feel like the front side facing the Thames would have to be facing out, with out to much in front of it for people to see the building for what it is. it also allows other taller buildings to be build in the cluster in the near future. so i think in many ways this building may not reach its fall potential for five or ten years tho i still love it and have from the start

PS Bezben im not trolling you just giving my side of the story just in case i get jumped on as its very had to express your self on here sometimes

I know how you feel .

Has there been much progress on the cladding? It seems like they have taken quite a while to fit that first piece

Crossing Waterloo bridge yesterday the shape is now strting to develop. I am trying hard to change my mind on this , as it will be there whether I like it or not. So far I start to convince myself until I actually see it and a sense of dread comes rushing back.

I am determined to like this building, and I think people will warm to it once the cladding goes on.

Totally borks this view though

Yes It might be in the way but remember the old 20 Fenchurch Street was an ugly 91m office tower, so it's not asif there was a view to begin with haha

ha yeah fair point, i forgot about that boring box. must have been nice for a while though.

this is going to be a prime location for any insurance firm looking to lord it over Lloyd's!

I hope we start listing some of those old Victorian/Edwardian streets as they are an amazing contrast to the new buildings
