In some of the photos above, I really enjoy seeing so many people out on the lake sailing on just a regular weekend.

Two observations:

1) The Aon Center is an insanely handsome tower.
2) I'm always amazed at how nicely the BCBS vertical expansion turned out.

You must be talking about this shot. I couldn't have done it better. I'm rarely this satisfied with my work.

More of Chicago in my Shutterstock portfolio!

Shutterstock is where I sell some of my best photography work as stock photography to advertising firms and marketing directors. Just thought you all would like to see how Chicago played there. I hope I was able to drum up a little more developer interest for you guys while I was there working on the city and helped increase your stature as one of the world's great skylines. Next San Francisco? New York? Don't know yet.

Thanks! I loved it there! It had a much more comfortable feel to me than New York. It was like putting on a nice-fitting suit to go out to dinner in.

To me, Chicago is just a much more liveable city. When I was there, I stayed at the Inn of Chicago, which I thoroughly enjoyed because I found it to be very quaint and cozy, nothing fancy. The Saturday night before I stepped out to take pictures from the top of the John Hancock Center, I walked up St. Clair Street to Gino's passing by Spiaggia, another Italian restaurant along the way. The line at Gino's was too long for me, so I walked back down to Spiaggia's and eat at the bar while I had a very nice conversation with some people from Chicago who were waiting for a table outside along the sidewalk. They thought I lived there. I told them I couldn't take the winters and that's why I live in Miami.

You can see the Inn of Chicago in red letters at the top of the first photo and at the bottom of the second photo.
