WHY INVEST IN THE FORT?

Master planned by an international group of experts
One of the most progressive cities today and is the next business district in the metro - better rental income
more than 50% will be allocated for parks
Strategic location (close to Makati, Ortigas and the airport)
Home to embassies and international schools (rental income)
Lots of Multi-national companies and future site of the Philippine Stock Exchange
St. Luke’s an internationally renowned hospital is located here in the Fort.
A lot of room for appreciation because of incoming developments in the area

you can check your condo options at the Fort here ----- http://megaworldfort.com/

Skyscrapers 'linked with impending financial crashes'
11 January 2012 Last updated at 04:46 GMT

There is an "unhealthy correlation" between the building of skyscrapers and subsequent financial crashes, according to Barclays Capital.

Examples include the Empire State building, built as the Great Depression was underway, and the current world's tallest, the Burj Khalifa, built just before Dubai almost went bust.

China is currently the biggest builder of skyscrapers, the bank said.....

Well, the Philippines certainly had bounced back as to what the recession had influenced the previous years. Good thing, the real estate in the country is better than ever. Condominium acquisition's in trend, and more and more people are realizing its advantage.

I agree that everyone has their own preferences and that one's decision is influenced by his/ her personality and lifestyle. But do know that condominium nowadays aren't only for business people, single or whatnot, they can also offer good spaces to start- up families, and bigger families too.

peace out!
Well, I could recommend Rhapsody Residences as well, just like your username. This development is at one in nature as it features elements of landscaping and water that mimic the serenity of a Japanese garden. Topiaries, manicured lawns, and koi ponds will be featured all throughout the centrally-located amenities area of the development, to reflect the Neo-Asian sensibilities of the architecture.

24 months!?? Isn't that too long? I couldn't believe it when I read it.
Well, don't act surprised. There are really certain developments that take long in completion, especially the high rise ones. Remember, when investing in a real estate property, it is advisable not to rush things. Besides, if you really are interested with the site, then, be patient.

I would like to monitor this thread to know further information about investing to condo units in some prime areas in the Philippines. I heard that there should be some reservation fee and construction fee that need to be settled in order for you to acquire the unit. Not sure though!
