I respect your list... But it's kinda strange though

My list in term of skylines :

1. KL + KV(including PJ and Shah Alam)
2. Penang Island
3. JB District
4. Malacca City
5. Kuching
6. Kota Kinabalu
7. Kota Bharu
8. Kuantan
9. Ipoh
10.Kuala Terengganu

But in term of size, JB is the 2nd biggest after KL + KV...

Agree with your list except that KT should be above Ipoh. Just go to KT thread and you can see some nice view of KT's skylines

i agree.JB are 2nd biggest city in malaysia after KV.Penang no 3 because the state are smaller compare Johor.but in terms of skylines penang will be no 2.

no 4 maybe between Ipoh or Melaka.(not include east malaysia ie KK n Kuching)

Well... Due to the nearly completion of "The Haven" in Ipoh, plus another upcoming hotel besides North-South Expressway, that's why I choose Ipoh above KT... Anyway, good to see that KT is growing

I respect your list but I think BP shouldn't be here.. Maybe at number 12 or 13. But for secondary towns outside of KV/Penang/JB, BP skylines rules.

Forecast: Penang may move up to B soon, Putra Jaya will move to C in near future, and Malacca may move up to D pending on a few projects materialized.

Since most other city dwellers like to see their cities listed upward, I think should take KL and its 50km radius places out to give other cities a chance to list in the top 10. As KV tall buildings is 2.5 times (guesstimation) the sum of all Malaysia's cities. All other cities are being completely dwarfed .

To me, Category A, international class compares to Hong Kong, Singapore, and Beijing. Category B is domestic level great skyline. C, Domestic good skyline. D, Domestic emerging skyline. E, Domestic - begining to form a skyline. F, Oh that is a skyline; and G, a skyline?

PD can be D or E category, and more like D. Certain area's density of buildings is quite impressive. Many , including me, have overlooked PD.

great list...

but, u should consider kuah (langkawi) as well, its skyline quite centralized n has a good number of highrises, n mores are coming up... i think it should be around 9-10 on the list

The Haven's building wasn't in the Ipoh downtown so it would not add up or help the Ipoh downtown skyline. Sometimes, numbers of buildings may not help much in terms of skyline appearance if they are scattered.

Is the up coming hotel referred to MH (20 or 21 storey)? if this is so, it is completed and is operating.

Kuching is probably the best organised skyline without a lot of buildings but it gives good impression. Good job.

Mon't Kiara has a very impressive skyline comparable (if not more impressive than) to the view from Suria KLCC.

yup, obviously SP hanyalah bandar yg Flat.....maybe yg masukkan SP dlm ranking x pernah pun sampai ke SP just termakan dakyah SP lebih maju dari AS....

SP ada bangunan tinggi tapi nampak flat sebab bangunan tinggi tak concentrate dan tak berada dekat antara satu sama lain...

1. Sky Residences - 18 tingkat (area SP Utara)
2. Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim - 7 tingkat (area SP Utara)
3. SP Plaza - 10 tingkat (Pusat Bandar)
4. Kompleks MPSPK - 7 tingkat (Pusat Bandar)
5. Wisma Keladi - 6 tingkat (Pusat Bandar)
6. Kompleks Cayman - 6 tingkat (Pusat Bandar)
7. Park Avenue Hotel - 10 tingkat (area SP Selatan)
8. Emerald Puteri Hotel - 8 tingkat (area SP Selatan)

- Kalau semua bangunan ni berada dekat antara satu sama lain baru wujud skyline (yang agak ok). Pada pandangan aku.
