Great to hear! Unfortunately, since painting such a good picture of Exclusive Links, I too have, over the past couple of days, been on the receiving end of what I consider to be unacceptable customer service!

Why what changed there? Have ExclusiveLinks bitten off more than they can chew?

Being the partner of Select in Bay Central with all its handover delays, snags and cock ups is probably taking up all their time! Just another one of the joys of dealing with this company and their constant cock ups and crap management

Can anyone recommend a better rental agent that also has full management services? I don't think propsquare provide these? I am thinking of leaving Exclusive if they do not improve soon!

Once again, Louise came to the rescue and sorted out the problem. It is a shame that you have to contact the GM for what is a straight forward customer focussed matter!

I fired Exclusive as they made a mess of my snagging (agreed with Select and signed off all items that required attention and needed to be fixed) and despite a 8% fee could not find a tenant willing to pay a decent rent because of all the faults in the apartment.

Anyway, as Exclusive have very strong links with Select and earn their bread and butter from them, it is not surprising whose side they will take when the going gets tough.

If anyone has had this and the area of your apartment has been less than quoted by select what happened about it. Pm me please.

Sorry to briefly hijack thread with a quickie.....

Just a quick question: Kingfield are asking for outstanding service fees, and I haven't received handover yet! Can they do this?

They say that Select must give them written proof that this is the case, which I have asked of them, twice, and nothing.

Yet, the fees go to a Torch Select account anyway!!

A crazy situation where I am in the middle (still paying the LPP quarterly), trying to get them to communicate with each other!

Thanks for any advice.....

Had the same email. Where do you think they got our email addresses from? Select of course.
So they are just being silly no surprise here. I contacted RERA on this & they said that we pay from the handover date onwards. I have confirmed this with others who havent done handover as well

I think its ok, official handover was in May 2011,all owners paying the service charge from that date .

Its same everywhere in Dubai, service charge always payable from the handover notice...nothing wrong with this.

The problem all laws protect only developers , investors has zero rights at the moment..

So, is RERA's stance different to this?
(It seems 'Official Handover' is a way of cheating-out of actual handover).
