A couple more blocks done, One of the main buildings in these blocks is Holbrook Place, the curved office complex with a 20 storey circular tower situated within a public plaza. It was built in 1968 and houses the city's Civil Engineering and Transport Departments

Few more blocks done, Most of the buildings are part of the Market. The flat area with the clock tower in the middle is the outdoor marketplace. The large building with the four separate sections is the Old Market hall, It is in fact four separate halls connected by glazed arcades, each hall has a particular specialty like fresh produce or household goods etc. The blocky building to the side of this is the Morgan Market, built in the 1970s to house the overspill of market traders from the main halls.

Well there is a lot more involved than just push and pull, but I believe that the key to realism just lies in pure observation of building styles, themes within cities and urban form.

I confirm the variety of buildings give your city realism despite it only sways between black & white
. In all case, excellent as always, I'm a fan of this thread So if I've well understood, the long little "buildings" on the outdoor market place are kind of "mini halls" ? |
