Im going to put a photo as well, it´s been days since the last photo posted.
Took this photo in 2010 up in MontRoyal Park and i´d like to share this. ![]() By thomyorke26 at 2012-07-24 How come i resize this photo and make it bigger? I mean,, i did this on Imageshack but the largest photo is like mine, so i was wondering what type of software or program do you use to post these pictures, i´d appreciate anything.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos!
I like how Montreal has so many New York-like beautiful stone (classical) buildings in the city. I remember a Japanese guy I met in Toronto saying "Before I came here I heard Toronto was New York City of Canada but...". I think Montreal is more like New York than Toronto is, except that its modern high-rise part is almost completely missing when you compare it to NYC. Perhaps Toronto's massive high rise cluster and the modern city (have been being built since 1970s) + Montreal's historic architecture(had mostly been built before 1970s) together would make a great Canadian version of New York up here haha. ![]() By the way, I think Quebec city is a real pretty and beautiful European town in NA. But I think they really need to move those concrete& boxy high rises standing/ easily seen behind Chateau Frontenac to somewhere else (away from the beautiful historic town). With a little bit of exaggeration, they look like... as if CN tower was standing in the middle of the Rockies! Last photo of Quebec city posted by charpentier would be just perfect! if there weren't the three concrete boxy buildings on the background. Is there anyway Alberta can spare some godly oil money to Quebec to relocate those buildings? (with the latest construction technology of course) Last edited by skyscraper03; July 26th, 2012 at 11:30 PM. |
