@steve, Danke für die Fototour.

Fenster lassen sich bei Bedarf austauschen. Wenigstens sind dank geringer Weltkriegsschäden noch viele Altbauten erhalten, wenngleich die französische Kulturnation wie an so vielen Orten schon im 17. Jahrhundert großflächig niedergebrannt hat.

Yes Baden Baden has an Airport, not so big http://www.baden-airpark.de/startseite.html?&L=1 but the next great Airport is Stuttgart or Strasbourg in France.

Anyway, I can tell you that Montevideo has much more elegant old buildings as Baden Baden.
The Pocitos neighborhoods with all that luxurious Mansions was unique in the world !

Nachdem der Schwetzinger Schloßpark zweimal mit dem Welterbeantrag gescheitert ist, soll jetzt Baden-Baden Weltkulturerbe werden.

Wenn auch ganz hübsch, denke ich allein von Stadtbild/Architektur her wird das nicht reichen. In Kombination mit der Kur- und Bädertradition vielleicht schon.
