How the planned rebuilding will look like?

On polish forum about club (not the best source), i have read that almost all stadium will be demolished end rebuild piece by piece, and stadium receive 10000 new seats. Does this mean that all tribunes will be new? I thought that only the smallest one. Am I right?

I have bad feelings, about the new fasade. Currently SB is one of the nicest stadiums looking from the outside. It's original!
Now, I am afraid, it will look like all the soaps, or other modern design. I hope that at least the oryginal construction will be visable some in inside...
And if in the block of stadium will be hotel and ather buildings it may look heavy

Yes, the outside is really great at Bernabeu. I love it when you see concrete and the back of the stairs

I seriously doubt the facade will remain as it is.

Totally agree. It is such a shame that the facade hides this at most new stadiums.

When you think about this , the investment will be a plus value on a scale of 15 years.
But where come from the money? spanish banks are under the eye of Brussels which make pressure on spanish government to apply financial public expenses then increase taxes.
Banks won't lend as easy as before.Even for the grand real madrid.
Get lost. Madrid has always been good for it´s money and is actualy making money. Don´t worry about their debst, they can pay the costs of having those debts and that is how any big company works.
Madrid is one of the clubs who don´t have debts with the Spanish gouvernment, nore need help of it. They will get it out of the market, specialy with marketing boy Florentino as pressy.
I think they are alot cleaner then your beloved Lille. Because how does a club out of nothing get´s a new stadium... yep gouverment money, half of it wasn´t it?
I don´t support Madrid so it has nothing to do with that.

Please have you forgotten the contract between spanish gorvernment and real madrid?

debts of real madrid were covered by spanish state

I'm sorry but don't compare the financement of lille stadium with a championship which has 4 billion € of debts.

Verily, are you familiar with the club's financial history and dealings? I'll just say it pays to be privileged and connected.

As to the stadium I'm sure it needs some TLC, but if too much of this is lost that would be a shame because by all accounts it's a classic in terms of form. It's unique, it's globally recognized and an imposing place to play. You'd be very hard pressed to fit 80k people into a comparable space under most modern design standards. (Granted, that might be part of the problems with maintaining this venue) I've no love for this club, but as a stadium this has the makings of a beauty that should be retained if at all possible.

As for an expansion I don't know why they should bother. There are plenty of games with seats left vacant and I can't fathom the extra income from the new seats would cover the cost, seeing as those seats would arguably be among the cheapest going. Right now the form has a nice balance to it. I'd be loathe to shoe-horn more seating into the picture out of vanity.

Seeing this video, i was wondering if anyone came up with a viable project of the Champions League stadium with the stars roof?

And it would fit to the history of the stadium

1.main stand is smaller
2. main stadium is expaned and its bigger
3. other stands expanded -Y main stand smaller

4. 3rd tier at main stand -> main stand again bigger
I think adding one more tier would make it EXTREMELY high (since the main tier top row stands at 44 - 45m). According to your draw, this new tier would be something like 55m (or more) high above the field level. That would make it almost impossible to watch the game if you seat in the top rows .

I would love the idea of building a stadium like that to host UEFA CL final every year, they could call it "Champions Stadium" or something like that. But this roof design is REALLY hard to build and a stadium with this size would cost billions.
