Looks like Gai lan, or "Chinese Broccoli". Very green and very good for you.

I was watching this BBC1 TV Serie called " Exploring China" which is about the culinary adventures of two of the best Chinese chef cooks from both US and UK who travel to China for the first time in like 30 years to endeavour on a journey through the different tastes and flavors of the nation as well as to see how the modern life been treating Chinese traditional cooking skills and all else.
I can tell you this; it is a surprisingly different kitchen than what we know over here nowadays; they have been pushing the prices of food really high as food now has become exclusive and should be 4 stars or 5 stars, many high end restaurants serving the most outrageous food and all beautifully served and the techniques they use, the ingredients and all else are just amazing! The Chinese are just re-discovering their true culinary identity that was lost during Mao's reign and I am sure that I want to visit China (Beijing, Hong Kong, Nanjing etc in future too) ... also Taiwan, Singapore, Korea and Vietnam for sure.
