Something I love about this tower, everytime im around tottenham court road/oxford street, always seem to stop among the crowds and jus stare for a few seconds like a tourist.

I spent some months in London in a Working-holiday in 2000-2001. During my days-off I liked to walk along Oxford Street, starting at Marbel Arch and it always amazed me how Centre Point dominated the views even from far away...back then I didn't know its height (SSC didn't even exist for me those years).
Anyway, I remember how it took me a while to look up and reach its roof with my sight. I really believed this building was at least 180 m tall (for those who haven't seen it in real life, this building soar a lot). For me it's kind of shocking to know it is only 117 m. tall...still I love it! It brings me back some great memories. |

Looks quite good and for a 67 scraper it looks modern.
It seems taller than 117m, i'd say 150m from what i've seen here.8/10

Certainly novel project. Once. I was inside, apparently, passing time. But, full recognition. I am greeting.

Very good for a 60s building. Certainly one of the rare 60s skyscrapers worth preserving IMO. 7/10

i love centre point and it always guides me if i'm lost. I don't get how it's under 400 foot, though? Looks at least 500!

10/10 Absolutely fantastic. What is worrying me is the new station forecourt being built for Crossrail...
