I agree, Ivory is not very good to market their products and even their website sucks ! It seems that they never/seldom make show units and neither offer precise information about what will really be the final product. After meeting them and visiting some of their previous properties, my feeling (but I may be wrong) is not that they are hiding something like poorer quality finishing. They just built, and assume that somebody will buy it !
I am an European but I have lived in Asia for years and my experience is that quality of construction and specially maintenance are in general (very) poor in Asia and consequently... they are very good for renovation ! For 10 IR, I will find a designer to give me some ideas for the renovation. If I REALLY like what Ivory did so far, I will keep it but if I do not, I will just replace it and get what I really like. I assume that renovation/replacement cost of what I do not like will be minor compared to the condo price itself. Just my 2 cts |

I have not seen the construction site myself but I received a formal Architect Certificate (addressed to my bank for the next payment linked to building work progress). It says that Ivory have completed the structural framework at levels 22-23. As the certificate was dated 27th July (and probably it took some time after viewing to arrange paperwork), I would assume they work on levels 24-25 now. I am quite pleased with the progress so far (assuming so long delays at the start of the project when it took them 2 years in 2008-2009 just to start actual construction work!). Any pictures from the construction site would be great to see. Pinangites please take a shot and post it here! :-) |

If you could tell us which projects and properties you own yourselves (in Penang and globally), then we might review prons and cons and even give you some intelligent advise.
As for now, i dont have a f about your view, so you can go back to twitter and post there. |
