Pity the occupants of the condos in the Sentral area, especially Suasana Loft... From having a view towards Cheras and the southern part of KL, they are now only facing the people working in Shell Tower!
It's something like a modern, less dense (and lower height) version of Singapore's Shenton Way financial precinct, to be honest, and dominated by the main tower of NU Sentral Mall!

I seriously think there should be another Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Coach, Gucci, Prada, Longchamp, TOD'S, Coach, Ermenegildo Zegna, Salvatore Ferragamo in here as well as all the other mass market brands such as Marks & Spencer or Debenhams, H&M, GAP, Guess, Uniqlo, Zara, Topshop, Bershka, RipCurl, Esprit, Forever 21, A|X Armani Exchange, DKNY and ck Calvin Klein.
Then the other floors will be for normal brands such as Charles & Kieth, Padini Concept Store, BRANDS Outlet, Giordano, Cotton On, G2000, Hush Puppies, Nichii, Kitschen, Hang Ten, etc... What are the chances of having high end brands here given the rental is so high?

i think impossible about the high end brand..coach maybe...but for prada..it quite to much..but whos know..maybe they change their mine...but the huge store lot facade at ground floor really suit with the high end brand like ferragamo..i can imagine how beautiful it is...

I read somewhere in The Edge last time where the then CEO of MRCB was saying how affluent is their target market within 5km radius.
OK maybe something unusual. Besides Parkson, bring H&M or Uniqlo as a mini anchor. Quote:

F & B outlets are now king-makers of a mall popularity and most service-orientated businesses are the ones paying higher rentals. And when there are more people, the higher the rental as well......
![]() That is the reason why Midvalley Megamall have higher rental rates than The Gardens Mall. That is also the reason why Sg. Wang had one of the higher rental rates in Malaysia too ![]() Like in many parts of the world, luxury brands only 'enhances' the mall outlook.....kinda like 'shiok-sendiri' or sometimes marketing strategy but it is the ordinary affordable stuffs that draws the spending crowd.

But don't you think in most parts of Asia today... it is this 'shiok sendiri' that is creating bustlingness?
My visitors from Singapore also agreed that KL needs more 'shiok sendiri' retails if we ever want to come up close to them or even our neighboring megacities.
