Katie Taylor
What an athlete, what a role model for young people.
![]() It's a pity she is only getting the recognition she deserves now because women's boxing has long been over looked. It would hardly have been in the olympics if it was not for her have to impress the IOC committee. Probably the best all round female athlete ever from the island of Ireland. To be as good as she is at so many sports is a remarkable achievement. To sum her up in one word -inspirational. ![]() Oh and good luck to JJ Nevin in his fight tonight! She's taken the gold, the lead from the roofs and the copper piping from the changing rooms.
![]() In all fairness, brilliant. Well done Katie. |
