I'm making changes to some Existing Threads, Some threads will be renamed and some will be divided:

If you have noticed all photos have disappeared from Nigerian Cities Photos Galleries Including other SSC Forums using Flickr. Please do not post Photos from Flickr anymore because it had pulled the Plug on Using [img][/img] because it only embeds the image and it does not link back to the Flickr photo pages.

This what Flickr says

Hey there,

We're very sorry to take a heavy hand at times, but it is a requirement of embedding Flickr photos offsite that the photos link back to the Flickr photo pages. Using [img][/img] only embeds the image, it does not link back to the Flickr photo pages.

Given that few to no Flickr photos embedded at that site were correctly linking back to Flickr, we've disabled embedding access there.

The hosts of that website can use Get Help at the foot of the page to contact us.

UPDATE:

Issues are now resolved with Flickr. You can post photos and Links to Flickr are automactically embeded.

This is a strong reminder to all forum users that posted images which are not owned and hosted by yourself must be properly credited, a link to the source must be provided and individual copyrights respected. Posted images which are not compliant to this are subject to removal. Thanks all for your cooperation.

The Thread NIGERIAN NOSTALGIA was deleted by Jan because the copyright owner complained the pics was used without permission.

And if You're posting an article, you MUST provide a link otherwise it will be deleted.

The thread's name has changed from "ONE-STOP INFORMATION ON THREAD CHANGES" to "The Forum Information Board".

I've deleted some duplicate threads & some will be merged to create a mega thread.

We Have the new forum layout and our special thanks to Matthieu for making it a reality.

ECOWAS Countries sub-forum is added to the Nigerian Forum, please visit & help update the forum.

Naija sub-forum is now Naija Club Forums and has been expanded with extra three sub-forum, Off Topic, General Discussions and Creative Corner

The Admins requires that If you're posting from flickrs, always use the BBcode otherwise your posts will be deleted.

If you're posting pics thats not your own, always credit the photographer, otherwise your posts will be deleted.

If you're using pics from blogs always ask for permission from the blog owners. and post a link to that blog.

If you're posting a News Article, always post a link to that news website. If you fail to post a link your post will be deleted.

New Year Spring Cleaning - In Abuja & Lagos photo threads, all recycled photos in that threads will be removed. Only new photos are allowed in there.
