That's the problem when two parties can't make a compromis about road numbering... And since the E661 motorway doesn't have a real number yet, it's hard to put it on signs

Basically there are three possibilities (but with several more options):
1. Coastal road D8 to Split, then D1 via Knin to Karlovac and from there to Zagreb.

2. New road to Niksic, then via M18 to Foca (BiH) - attention, bad road right after the border for about 10 to 15 km - M18 further to Sarajevo, via A1 and M5 to Travnik and Jajce then M16 to Banja Luka and to the border at Gradiska. And then to Zagren

Thank you very much for answer. And what do you think about the route similar to no2 and 3 but going further north from sarajevo through Zenica and Doboj crossing the border in Slavonski Brod?

It's an option, but the road is very busy - that's the cause why A1 is built On M5 starting from Travnik there is in fact nearly zero traffic. So it depends on the time: If you drive in the night or on weekend without trucks, than it's ok. If not, then I would prefer 2. or 3.

Quite good pace - a contract for construction Suhodol - Tarcin section was signed on 21st May this year.
