Young Eternal
_(For Ching)

An ivory, flawless skin
A cherubic soul within
With centerfold, glossy hair
Crowning a face, virtuous fair
She is her own pleasant sun
Shining her planets of fun
That revolve in perfect sphere
Encircling her far and near
An illuminating sight
Life’s beauty seen in her light
True beauty mocks Father Time
Constant as tic tocs that rhyme
Always young though rosy cheeks
Pale with winter’s snowy weeks
Descending with leaves of fall
In summer's reign, proud and tall
A rose in eternal spring
Is the always blooming Ching.

Love and Youth

Love and youth are inflamed affairs
Burning lovers in a fever
They both feel cold to the world’s cares
Wrapping each alone together

Love and youth are suns of high noon
A stirring heat and blinding light
Doubly darkens, unlike full moon,
Though cloaked by night, reveals the sight

Love and youth are flowers in bloom
Unlike those bloomed by weathers’ rhyme
Plucked and walled in a lonely room
Withered before appointed time

Love and youth are naively sweet
Eye-candy beauty sugared eyes
Honey-melted tongues at first meet
That melt away those sweet, young sighs

Love and youth both hide in plain view
With blushing shame and labored breaths
Young minds impaled of colors true
That leads to deliriums or deaths.

The LOVE Spectrum

Roses are more of red
A few do come in white
On passions hearts are wed
With love, for life unite

Violets are not blue,
But their own color strong
Lingers not love that’s true,
It grows old and stays young

Love is not color blind
In colors pure, lovers find
White love and throes scarlet;
Sad blues, glad violet.

Love At The Horizon

So not in favor with eyes of good looks!
Not an heir to your kind of wealth and fame
Beautified by covers of classic books,
Rustling with moral leaves is my rich claim
A husband to livelihoods that don't meet--
Monthly ends and beginnings are divorced
My disheveled life and your charmed state greet
With detached respects society enforced
Life's not in the confidence of fiction
Where a princess and slave become one heart
Transcending a hut and royal mansion
Are heights unconquered that set us apart
****I'll journey long till your stars kiss my ground
****Horizon's far where sky and earth are bound.

I liked how you used the image of the stars kissing the ground, and the sky meeting the earth at the horizon to build on in this piece. The high heavens and the lowly earth does meet, finally at the edge of all our sight!

Hands

An old man stops
to stare at the hand
that hangs by a fence
along the railway.



When leaves start
to fall and the warmth
of the world seeps away,
they show up.


Scattered on streets,
drowning in drains, like
someone beckoning,
for your help.



Some are bent and curled
into fists, another one flat
on the pavement giving
the middle finger.



Discarded hands that
with a little imagination,
grow into bodies, into people
and their feelings.



Now, the old man smiles
wistfully, at the hand
still hanging by the rail fence,
Palm side up, wide open



As if to ask,
if such a thing could—
“where? where is the hand
that used to hold me?”.

Time to call bumbera guapa
She blows your trails as a siren
To shower back your charred haven
Give way her emergency path,
So she can block fire's hellish wrath
She understands what makes a fire

She rains hard on blazing monster,

I will garden your virtue
From longings sprouting in weeds
And water your lilies through
With love's painfully sweet deeds

Nectars only become sweet
When your blooms and my bee meet
I will perch on your petals
Dwell in love's secret castles

Honey drenched, our love will bloom
Pure beauty shines your garden
Clothing its naked perfume,
A perfect bliss of Eden

On maddened joys we truly lie
While floating in an opiumed fate

Thriving in its being insane
We push poor Heart to usurp Brain
Ancient Cupid is still a child
Whoever he hits becomes wild
Love is a foolish childish game
That grownups play with wanting shame.

I delusion you're a thirsty vampire,
So my blood will be your scarlet desire
Though a spectacle of fallen heaven,
I'm raging mad with your bliss so heathen!

If gone for long is your evil allure,
Stirred are monstrous longings I can't endure
