By the way, any news on allélänken? I haven't heard much about it since the proposal first was presented.

Might be a stretch to include this here but the government have given final go ahead for E6 through Tanumshede after an appeal. But unfortunately this will probably be appealed to the EU, further delaying the completion of E6 as a 2+2 road all the way between Gothenburg and Oslo.

According to Göteborgsposten, trafikverket and Västtrafik do not make the same calculations on how many trains that Göteborg C can handle. In december, the new commuter line to Älvängen is planned to begin service, but contrary to Västtrafik, trafikverket do not think that 4 trains/hour is possible. There are disagreements concerning other lines as well.
Shouldn't they have agreed on this earlier? |

First toll station in place. I passed through it yesterday just after they had set it up.

And here's an image of one of them, with the news that Alependeln will get 15 minute traffic, albeit one month later then originally planned.

Munkebäckslänken is being built! I know it has been decided for a while, but I just saw this page att goteborg.se. This is just a small piece of tram tracks but I think it will do a lot for public transportation in eastern Gothenburg. It sure is a missing link. For example: If you want to go from Munkebäckstorget to Örgryte you have to take Tram no1 from Munkebäckstorget to Härlanda, no3 from härlanda to Kållorp, and then continue on no5 from there. This will within a short future be a one seat ride. I just got a little surprised by the fact that they are going to turn the crossing into a roundabout, isn't it a little big for that? Anyway, I'm glad this is finally happening!
