i think he means tehran vs other cities

tehran is a far larger city than any other in iran, not only that , its the centre of economy, politics etc and therefore alot of the pressure of iran is centred on tehran and over the past three decades, tehranis in general have become generally pissed off and you can sense this (everyone in iran is pissed off but tehran the most imo) , people have become very careless in some things and also very tempered, rude rather .i dont blame them , also , so many people come to tehran, the congestion etc does not help. neither do sky rocketing expenses

other cities are a bit more relaxed and its clearly visible , i wouldnt say its not just tabriz with better tempered people, i went from tehran to shiraz and esfahan once and i could clearly see the difference (even with esfahanis which are said to not be so friendly), in tehran you can hardly enter a store without having to rather argue your way around something but shiraz for example everyone is layed back and khoonsard

all these create a more relaxed and healthier environment to live in

otherwise in terms of "culture" i dont see any major differences , if not tehran would have maybe a slight more % of more "liberal" citizens but i think the main issue freddy pointed our was what i said earlier


not to mention though all across iran we have alot of avazi people (no offence to ourselves) but these people have been able to grow somehow and create a very messy society

I love Tabriz. Fantastic city. I'm not Azari and can't speak a word of it, so everytime I visit they think I'm faking not being able to speak Azari.
My father had the same experience more than 30 years ago.
But yes, the weather is quite pleasant, especially in the summer and the people for the most part are very kind.
