There are three digits somewhere on the FIFA website: total capacity, world cup capacity and world cup final capacity. I remember first digit was over 80.000, die other two less than 80.000

when these renders of a remodeled Maracanã first came out, I did not care for them. but the picture above really shows just how awesome this stadium is going to be when it's complete. I can't wait!

it's not possible, the stands are too close to the pitch to fit a track in there

It could probably fit a track, however, they'd need to do something similar to what they're doing with Hampden Park for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

this is olympic games which involve all Continent from all the world? its not a national games..and this is not even original maracana stadium,most of it already demolish and replacing with new structure but a all same design, ...wat a waste..
