Pics from last winter from the site, the empty site only used for pedestrian passage, and by the dog people.

A triangle building here is pretty logic. Parking house or not, just put some shops at ground floor that create some life, and with more than 1000 upcoming apartments in the area, it's sustainable.

Really looking good and I am sure it is going to look cool from above. I know I am going to sit on the right side of the plane next time I fly home.

As Ramblersen proposed, I've posted Amager Forbændings project in the East Amager thread, due the projects location.

It seems we get them both now, the Beer drinking and the slope, since the politicians at the town hall has made an agreement, and accepted the idea.

looking great in the late summer sun.
Roof cladding has now started on the main roof over the big aquarium and a lot of the landscape work has been carried out.
Inside, they are testing the water supply systems and cleaning the tanks.

Aerial of the Strandhusene the 'Amager Strandpark' project.

They could have been a little bit more creative and informative about the ongoing projects in the area.

According their web, they've started the sale of the Strandtårnet, and the first units have been sold

I agree. This aerial is only useful for those who don´t know where the East Amager refers to when reading this thread, though it does show why this area is a popular place to live.
Therefore this post.

Updates from Amager Strandvej & Strandlodsvej.
We're in the very early construction phase with excavation of underground parking, and the 5 projects will side by side rise the next 12 months.

1. KPC's Amager Strandtårn 21 floors at Krimsvej u/c.

2. KPC and Lærenes Pension, 2 highrises at 15 and 16 floors u/c.

3. Arkitekgruppens row houses u/c ,and the 14 floors Twister tower app.

4. The Amager Strandpark project with a 14 floor highrise, rowhouses u/c and 5-6 floor block.

Topping out at the rowhouses,

5. The most developed project, the Øresund Tower, and the completed 6 floor block at Amager Strandvej by Arkitektgruppen.

The vital Metro, and we'll get a decent skyline in one years time..

6. Strandlodsvej, the Sophienberg Ejendomsudvikling's complex of 4 towers of each 9-10 floors.

And there's the 6th one u/c in between, the KPC and Danica Ejendomme, 12 floor, that I'm not sure where exactly is located..

Somehow I feel that this area is a little bit forgotten. So many projects but so little attention.

Yes, it's so weird that there hasn't been thought about a overview webside explaining and showing the ongoing and approching projects in the area, e.g. as we saw with Sluseholm and in Ørestad. Don't forget this is more than 1000 apartments and row houses being build a long this short piece of coast-line.

Classic danish saving money way of thinking..

Excellent update, Hafnia

Looking forward to see this area, when it all starts to grow above ground...

Fantastic update,

I was wondering if anyone has seen or made a volume study of the area in its entirety?

I'm not talking building info models at a high level of detail, I'm talking massing or even just skyline visualizations?

It would be interesting to see a view of all the proposed buildings -it's going to be spectacular by Danish standards if all these towers are realized!

The best I have seen in this area is the rendering posted by Kaneda in post nr. 102 in this thread.
It would be nice with a more detailed perspective.
Perhaps someone can put names on the different projects.

I made a very simple 3d model some weeks ago for Google Earth, with just the high rises, which can give a better overview.
