Might seem like a stupid question, but why is Jersey a haven for super yachts?

Its because island attracts the wealthy - but they are about to build
bigger marinas to cope with bigger yachts.

Jersey is not a Tax haven - and was struck of Tax haven list
some time ago - and now shares tax information with many nations
today.
The correct term today is a "low tax zone".

You've moved on fast.

Clearly you don't give a shit about the efforts of Paralympians in London.

You have a callous heart.

It is pretty much the same as Southern Britain temps, as well as sunshine. I'd say it is slightly more windy, especially in winter.

Not Correct - Jersey is situated on the Gulf stream and the warmer waters
keep us more mild than the UK. ( we are much further south )
Our weather patterns are linked to main land Europe, as we a closer.

The Gulf Stream flows around the South Coast of the UK too.

Taken directly from Wiki: The climate is temperate with mild winters and cool summers.[81] The average annual temperature, 11.6 °C (52.9 °F) is similar to the South Coast of England and the mean annual total sunshine is 1912 hours.[82] The terrain consists of a plateau sloping from long sandy bays in the south to rugged cliffs in the north. The plateau is cut by valleys running generally north-south.
