I didn't know there was a place called gold coast in hong kong, how very funny about the name, it would never live up to the real gold coast in australia.

There are alot of places around the world with the same name though the one in Australia is the most known.

One advantage of Gold Coast is the ferry service to the city centre. Without it, it would take quite a distance.

I think there's some confusion with Discovery Bay or even Ma Wan, which is far offshore from there.
