I agree... I've always found it laughable how they [modernists] refer to their architecture as "utilitarian" or "functional," and have tried at all costs to suppress the use of embelishments, when, in the end, their buildings might be in the same level, or even less functional, than those clasically designed, and in many instances, horrible-looking. They just replaced a working system with another one that fit their personal views, even if they say otherwise.
