I really don't know why but GDL is not photogenic at all... I haven't seen any pics that show the real "mood" of the city, while that's easier to do in MTY, DF and many other cities around the world...

GDL is one of my favorites cities, it's vibrant, classy, cultural, dinamic but still keeps a very special "Mexican" feeling. I love it!

Are you kidding me?, what means for you photogenic, last pics for Master mata show public spaces that you will hardy find in other Mexican city

If you want thousands of pics from far away showing same angle and some buildings all over and over again for sure this is not what the creator of this thread triying to show

If this is not photogenic so what it is

DDDDAAAAAAMMMMMNNNNN.. calm down buddy!

did u even read my 2nd sentence??

i'm not saying it's ugly... AU CONTRAIRE!!! I'm saying the pictures don't show the real beauty of Guadalajara. And even if u put a thousand pics in ur posts i still find that none of the show the real mood of the city. wich is a very vibrant, classy, cultural, dinamic but still keeps a very special "Mexican" feeling. I love it! AS I SAID BEFORE! (literally, i just did copy-paste lol). U really have to be there and live the city to get it's real beauty and mood.

Some cities wich show very easily their mood through pictures. IN MY OPINION: NY, Montreal, Toronto, San Antonio, Monterrey, DF, Cancun, Pto Vallarta, Ottawa etc.

btw, Hotu Mata makes everything look good, still it's something about the city i believe.

Dalai carnalito!

I have being in most of the Mexican cities you mentioned, my point is beside probably Vallarta and some specific areas of DF, walk those cities and take photos street level and you will easily see that are not photogenic cities at all, what Master Mata is doing is great cause show the city as it is, just FYI he is not taking just an specific area of the city I saw photos from Zapopan, Tlaquepaque, Guadalajara downtown, Chapultepec, Puerta de Hierro, Expo area, Colonia moderna, Plaza del sol etc

I understand that some theads pretend to show their cities, better of what they really are (have you try to walk in Mty or Cancun beside turistic zone)

I really appreciate work of people that is spending his personal time to show those areas as we common people see if we walk that area, like the ones of la condesa or Colonia Roma on Mexico city forum, pics are not perfect but give a real perspective of how this area is

Btw no bad feelings on it just doesn't make sense for me what you mentioned

a otra cosa mariposa

Master, do you have any pictures of that "scary" place close to the "Hospicio Cabañas"? There are chairs with "animal" figures or something :S
