In all seriousness, these hard core Muslims within our country scare me. They stand for everything that is about destroying our hard-won freedom. They interpret their calling as a need to destroy all that is not Islamic and to dominate the world. They are happy to die for this, they crave death. In the end, common sense and diplomacy are irrelevant to these people and only an equally strong will to fight back at all costs will defeat them.

We clearly have that will, consider what we went through in ww2 etc. Western democratic nations are not by any means weak. But so far these extremists are nothing more than an angry and weak minority, and overeacting to them is going to do more harm to our hard-won freedoms than good.

Those idiots yesterday were completely out of line but in no way do they represent all muslims or even most of them.

Lets look in our own backyard at our indigenous people and what their input to this country is, the jail and welfare systems in particular. There are roughly the same amount of Aboriginals (2006 est. 517,200, representing about 2.5% of the population) as there are people of Islamic religion (2011 est. 476,300 people, or 2.25% of the population) yet its Aboriginals that are much more of a problem than the odd riot. Its a CULTURE of crime, alcoholism, low employment and the rest... anybody see this changing anytime soon? Why isnt this constantly (since its been an ongoing problem for decades) condemned and deemed 'unaustralian' by Gillard.

Wouldnt be anything to do with the fact its not happening in the streets of Sydneys CBD by any chance?

Lets be clear, earlier I was criticising extremists not muslims in general. Every group has their extremist minority, need I remind you of the redneck riots in 2005 in Cronulla? The Indian student bashings in the last few years? How about I generalise based on these like the Indian media did and call all Australians xenophobic racists!

Actually in the Cornulla Riots they were bashing up muslims. Bunch of flag waving xenophobes organised a protest by texting and the internet when some Lebanese people bashed up a lifesaver on the beach.

LMFAO!!! If an Aussie beat up an indonesian in indonesia or a thai in thailand the situation would be a hell of a lot worse than what you see in that video. Non-Western countries would not tolerate an outsider attacking a local so why should we? And Aussies do not recieve any financial assistance from foreign governments like these lot do
