How did ISELCO get to the 20B Pesos accumulated debt?

I thought Magat Dam would have generated enough power supply for ISELCO.

Anyways...if it get to that point....there is a possibility that a Private investor would take over. It is after all an essential services. With out power running in the Province would mean lost in business and other investment that would otherwise come to Isabela.

Hope they will come up a workable solution to deal with it.

Sa parte naman ng ISELCO II, from September 4, 2012, gabi gabi nagkakabrownout mula 6:30pm. 2-5 hours ang tagal ng brownout.

ISELCO II is serving 20 municipalities and the City of Ilagan. Kasama na ang Roxas, Isabela.

ILAGAN CITY, Isabela, Sept 14 (PIA) -- The Isabela Electric Cooperative II management is resolving the issue of intermittent brownouts that are experienced by consumers in the last few days.

ISELCO II General Manager Dave Solomon Siquian and the whole ISELCO management are now looking at the causes of brownouts and will make necessary solutions to resolve problems that are arising in the electric distribution utilities.

Siquian said his office was swamped by complaints from barangay captains that started last September 4.

In a dialogue conducted at the office of ISELCO II, he said the causes of brownouts loose main wires and the sudden shutdowns of National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).

ISELCO II and the NGCP management are set to meet this week to resolve the causes of brown outs in the area of operations.

ISELCO II will conduct routine checkups of its line facilities to ensure continuous flow of electricity without interruptions.

A hotline will also be established to entertain reports and complaints by those affected by intermittent brown outs.
