pay in macau

hi guys, i am very interested to live and work in macau in the near future. does anyone know what is the starting pay for a new degree holder?

The best bet is to contact one of HR agents in Macau. They got a lot more accurate and updated information. IMO, it varies depending on one's background, the field of industry and the hiring company. In the ball park, I'd say US$12,000.00. Language is a challenge there. If one could speak both English and Chinese fluently, one could have much better opportunity.

If you are willing to learn portuguese independently or alongside chinese you can try and get a job at Fundação Oriente, Instituto Português do Oriente, Portuguese embassy or other institutions and most of the tipical restaurants, at a law practice, or the government and Macau's main bank, Banco Nacional Ultramarino. The pay for a starting job fluctuates between 15.000 and 25.000 monthly patacas, but I've heard it go way higher.
