VTB looks more promising also thanks to its location closer to downtown Moscow.

Which team has more political support, Dinamo or Spartak?

What police and KGB, dude? Soviet days are long gone. The senior politicians visited top matches of Spartak much more times than Dynamo.

Yes, if you look in detail ,the third row is in another blue than the 1st and second one : it is to show where is the limit between both configuration...
No chance that it stay a 45 000 seats as the budget is already over the original envelop!

What will happen if FIFA chooses Luzniski and Spartak?

So they won't built the temporary stands?

Yes , if FIFA does not choose VTB Arena, they should not build 45k but 35k....and also use the new delay to redesign completely the design of the two bawls....

Spaktak alsways was a club without political support.Dinamo is club for police.Beria was big supporter of the club and sometimes even used his power against players from Spartak (see case of Starostin's brothers).

Modern days.Fans of Dinamo Moscow and their idol.

Actually, now in russian championship there is only one club with pure kremlin political support - Zenith.

It was the answer on action of Spartak fans. In 2003 Spartak played last match of championship with an outsider - "Torpedo-Metallurg". Torpedo was needed in victory to remain in Premier League. Spartak finished on 10th place in any way.

Of course, all understood that it will be fixing match - even most crazy Spartak's fans. That's why they showed big banner with portrait of founder of "people team" Nikolay Starostin (1902-1996) and inscription "He sees everything!". They wanted that their players feel ashamed.

But despite this, the "people team" predictable lost this match and has written another shameful page in own history.

If this had happened in any other league, Spartak would play in the lower divisions. However, football officials were too loyal to the "butchers"

Spartak is a failed team. In difficult 1990s, when other clubs faced with problems, they won almost all championships. That's why among young generation it was "fashionable" and "cool" to be fan of champion club. That's why they have so many fans.

However, real fans continued to believe in successes of their team. And when in 2000s domestic competition increased, Spartak became play secondary roles in Russian football. They didn't won any championship during last 11 years and they will not win anything at least during next 11 years

And it happened not due to someone's political support, but due to their crappy play. These talks about political support are no more than pathetic attempts of justification for Spartak's losers

you can carry on your russian debate, but that doesn't really contradict what he said. In the last decade there has been very little success for Spartak. CSKA is definitely the most important Moscow team now, and Zenit clearly the Russian superpower. We'll see what Anzhi can do about it.

but to say that Spartak became popular only because of the victories in 90s, it is not true

The stadium is to have a massive underground space for numerous uses, not mentioning the actual foundations that need to go deep. Does anyone have the renderings handy of how the level's below ground are to look? I don't see it.
