Forum Rules & Guidelines
One question for the mods and admins - Can a link to the forum rules and guidelines be provided because I am having trouble trying to locate the page/s?
Cheers.

Apart of some rules in guidelines in local forums, there is no overall set of rulles. Basically everyone here for the right reasons, which is sharing news, info, photos and enthusiasm for the urban environment, should be fine. Then there is the obvious misconduct, such as spamming, posting hateful stuff, multiple accounts, etc. As much as rules on posting and behavior can provide clarity they can also be a source of discussion on their interpretation and implementation, especially on a multinational and multicultural board as this one. Hence all this grey area is up to the local staffers how to handle it.

Hello.
Does bearing pictures of fascist dictators and symbols of the SS on an avatar count as "hateful stuff"? Because there are two forum members who have them, and no one has ever banned them, and they do post hateful (and political) stuff. Last edited by 437.001; September 29th, 2012 at 12:14 AM. |

This site is about skyscrapers and everything they represent. As such you'll find it's main focus is on skyscrapers, but people here also take an interest in anything that makes city interesting and enjoyable: architecture, trains, airports, urban development, etc.

Is this forum for developers and not for private citizens?
And a lack of rules really doesnt promote transparency or fairness. |

I see a red dot on my profile. No documentation in regards to an Icon legend explaining the significance.

Well, there really is one rule around here, which is: thou shall act in the spirit of sharing news, facts, photo's, enthusiasm and happiness about the urban and built environment. As such the forums are free and open to all.
The red dot means you're online but not visible as such. The red dot is only visible to you and staff. If you chose to show your online status, the dot is green and visible to all. You can set this in the user cp (first option of this page, invisible mode] |
