I meant the bay area, the area affected negatively by competitive cuts, etc. but Rick is expecting to lose Hillsborough again it seems based on his movements and actions.

The 2nd floor of the Tampa Library is being gutted out and renovated during this summer. It is likely that new lighting and flooring will be installed, as well as expanded areas to plug in laptops, etc.

Just an FYI; anything relating to Florida Polytechnic (formerly USF Poly) will now be housed in this thread in the Florida Forum.

I hope the monolith statue / art piece is still on the waterfront side. I have a lot of very good memories of going to USF - SP.

So I didn't want to make a whole new thread for this, not directly related to USF, but close enough in proximity.
Anyways, the old 13 story Fontana Hall was recently demolished and in its place The Flats at 4200 is already under construction. 314 units, (2) five story buildings. A pretty significant development, on a plot of land that has been a large eye sore for some time. Facebook link that has a rendering: http://www.facebook.com/TheFlatsat4200?fref=ts http://www2.tbo.com/news/community-n...own-ar-524264/ |
