Amazed to see a rapid change in short time as look in 1870s and then after 1920s.

Picture of Boston in 1967 is an example of such rapid development in America. Now the difference is only in style but the pattern is same as it was before 50 years.

I agree. There are not many old buildings that have spiral fire escapes. It is nice to see something different than typical old buildings we see daily.

Gangster Land USA, 30's, 40's & 50's Kansas City, Missouri

KC had a few "ELevated" streetcar lines and one of the most prolific streetcar systems in the world

This incline was so steep that it was common knowledge that you took your life into your own hands if you rode it.

My guess is it was taken on a Sunday morning or on a holiday. Cincy was too bustling back then for that shot to have been taken on a regular business day.
