Urban R&R: Remarks and Suggestions
Some already started topics with city topics. Thanks for that, but I think it might be a better idea to start a topic for each individual project. City threads are a bitch when you're looking for information on a specific project, plus it's way better for the search engines to index these by topic.
Thanks! |

I agree that it can be hard to find specific projects in a city thread but if make threads for each project it can get a bit messy and it often leads to that smaller projects get neglected.
Maybe the best way to go is to have a subsection called "Regional Development" or something and have city threads for smaller projects there?

Done. Again make sure this is based on projects, not cities.

It is, if you click on the link for a city, it will show all the projects that are located in that city.

Suggestions for threads that should go here
Ahoi
![]() So we finally have this redevelopment forum. It should stay on the index page. But we'll need more threads to gain activity in here. Please suggest threads from other subforums that can be moved here! Just give a link and the staff will decide what to do. Thank you and enjoy this great forum!

This definitely is a biggie that should go here to raise awareness of the topic and make this forum lift off:
Revitalization in Your Cities - Europe It's probably the biggest redevelopment / renovation / urban renewal thread around.

If you have nothing against it, I'd like to continue my thread in the way I started it.
I had it in mind as a catalogue, one project per post.

^ You mean like this?
Sure, I'm okay with that. Looks really good. ![]() Though I don't think we should include so many newly built buildings in here. This forum should be more about the renovation of older buildings and the resurrection/revitalization of urban squares/parks, street furniture and so on. Other wise you could easily use the General Development News or City Compilations forums. See my point?

I suggest that this forum becomes a subforum of General Urban Developments.
