The recent fires in Tecom and JLT could be due to the lack of regulation in the FREE ZONES.

Dubai Marina is not a free zone and is regulated by the authority of Dubai Municipality. DM state that they have strict rules in the use of fire rated cladding panels and inspect how they are fitted.

I doubt such cladding isn't used there as well
