Busiest Place in NYC.

Hey,

I'm planning to run some street promotions soon. People walking around with advertising signs promoting products. But I don't live in the USA so I need some advice.

What do you think is the busiest place in NYC (and consequently the best place to run these promotions)?

I need specifics. Exact locations so I can send people to these locations without confusion. Also busiest day and time would be good too (weekends? weekdays? lunch time?).

Thanks!

I'd say:
Times Square
Union Square
Chinatown
Flushing (Queens)
Jackson Heights, Roosevelt Ave (Queens)
The hub (Bronx)

The answer to this also depends on time of day and if you want a New York crowd or tourists.

For example, if you want New Yorkers as opposed to tourists you certainly wouldn't go to time square.

If you want New Yorkers and metro New Yorkers I would say 34th Street between Penn Station and Macy's is one of the best spots.

But be aware, there isn't one great spot in NYC, there are a number of them. Dozens probably.

Times Square, You know, the place that's Jammed packed 24/7 and appears to be the center of the universe in every movie made in the past 10 years

Times square is the busiest place in NYC. Because of times square NYC is declared as one of the top busiest cities in the world.

Ironically, the crowds are now a reaction to the advertisements rather than vice versa.

There are very few things worse in life than tourists on Times Square

Times Square isn't all bad. I got some decent weed while waiting at a light last time I was there.

Times Square has too much a theme park feel to be respectable or appreciable. Loud, in your face, crazy, not to mention gritty and filthy.
