It's a hard man who criticizes downtown Fort Worth. Mostly we hear how it greatly outshines downtown Dallas for street life and synergy.

The parking lots are certainly no worse than most cities and quite a bit better than many. Ft. Worth's skyline may lack balance (generally due to various demolitions of landmark buildings over time) but it surely doesn't lack for substance.

And I'm guessing those two prominent parking lots to the right are being swallowed up by the last phase of Sundance Square. In any case, how many Sunbelt downtowns have cinemas and multiple bookstores ? Indeed, how many of them have numerous retail outlets (other than restaurants) ?

As of a few weeks ago, it is apartments. It was a bank. First & Merchants maybe? The architect was British. I just read about the building's history but didn't take much away from the article it appears
