Moderators acting like dictators at the brazilian forum.

I agree with everyone here. Instead of punishing the offenders who are a minority, the RRC moderator decided to punish all closing the thread and for the third time this year.

Just look what our thread every day receives good content:

It is the best source of information about the build, reference to journalists and even the staff running the project. The thread had already suggested changes to the project that actually happened.

It is one of the most popular threads of SSC and obviously will always have new people who will not respect any rules. It's hard to control ourselves always advising these users. But sometimes the only way is banning, but the moderation once again chose to close the thread instead of using the proper tool.

We are only 10 days of the inauguration of the stadium and the RRC moderator said: "Maybe it will be reopened in time for the inauguration, maybe not."

This is a great disrespect to anyone who has been following and contributing with information, always respecting the SSC rules and often devoting a lot of time researching. But closed by people who do not have any interest in the thread.

I beg for consideration of the SSC owners as soon as possible.

They are anything, but "moderators". More like dictators. I hope you have a look into this. SSC is a great forum and should have the same high level of discussion and debate in all regional forums, which at the moment is not happening with the brazilian section.

In this huge threads, like Gremio Arena, there is obviosly too much work for a moderator that dosn't follow the thread.
It would be much easier if in this cases SSC name an USER of the thread to be the moderator of this one. There would be real time advices, real time bans, and much less slips...
If you can't handle it, don't even try! That's not what a moderator should do! Name someone who can!

there are already two older threads. Most people that were in the brazilian forum thread moved to the thread at the Latin American forum, subforum PROYECTS.

This is my first post here, but I follow the project (Arena do Grêmio) since at least 2006, when there was another thread that isn't even open anymore (I believe).
I've never created an account here because I live far away Porto Alegre and couldn't contribute.

BUT, now I felt necessary to tell that i agree with Aceshigh.

It's an absurd to close an entire thread (the biggest) that brought so much information about Arena, just because a half dozen people who do not know how to behave - and just two weeks before the opening -, when the correct should be ban or suspend them, in my opinion.

Its not specifically about the Gremios thread, but I want to size the opportunity to complain about Brazilian mods. Most of them are completely out of control and act as if they owned the place. Its disgraceful.

I, for one, have decided to leave Brazilian forum as it was impossible to deal with all that c.... I used to contribute a lot to the forum, but apparently theyve thought otherwise. I dont know whats their agenda but theyre clearly leading the forum to a very bad place.
