My mother came back from Ioannina last year and said it was just stunning. From these pictures i can see why she loved the surrounding area so much.

I put together a video of historical documents from non biased western travelers, ottoman official records, as well as historians own accounts, that describe the ethnic situation of Epirus during the 19th and early 20th century.






and here is one with ancient source and modern historians.... same catchy music.
