The South Tower went through the historic district and City entitlements separately. And then it was the typical four months to get a building permit.

Glad they got it then as they are actively working on the 5th floor!

What's going to make up the bulk of the 2nd-5th floor space in the podium? Apartments? Parking?

Parking wrapped by retail on ground level. Parking wrapped with apartments above the retail.

Poured the last portion of the roof of the pedestal today. Two of the three towers are sprouting from there. Third tower is on hold for now for some reason, but stair and elevator wells are ready for future action.

The third tower was always supposed to be a later phase.

Oh I know.

Just confused as there is so much current demand for housing seems strange to wait for another cycle.

When is expected move in dates, or when leasing might begin?

Couldn't seem to find a date on their website

I saw that, but I'm doubting that includes interior finishes. Aggressive if it is!

I can't believe this thing won't even be as tall as the Whatchamacallit Field (name's always changing). Why does Seattle like its stubbies so much? Why, oh, why?

wow i had no idea this was already so far into construction.

It's too bad it isn't very tall but i feel like this area needs new buildings in general make it look more alive.

I just wonder if the earthquake issue dominates decisions in this neighborhood more than it needs to. Even though solid rock can't be very far down, everybody knows this part of town was underwater when we got here and is also right on the fault.

Looks like they've poured the top floor of the West Tower and the prepping for the rooftop pour. Appears the South Tower progress has stopped until the West Tower is completed? No action in over a month there.

As I thought, work on the South Tower is back in full swing as the other tower tops out.
