Bohinj lake-valley
Bohinj lake is the largest pemanent and nature made lake in Slovenia. It is 4350 m long (longest diagonal), wide 1250 (N-S) m and the deepest part of the lake is 45 m. Lenght of the lake's coastline is 10.900 m. The lake was made by a glaicer. The main feeder of the lake is Savica. Along the northern part of the lake are several underwater springs - the most know is the karst spring Govic. |

Koper
Koper is the main Slovenian port and the entrance to the inland of the Central Europe. It is located on the "top" of Istria. Koper was an island till the 19th century and only shallow 'closed' bay, named Škocjanski zatok remains.. Later the town and the island were connected with the mainland. Old town centre boasts with the rich architecture and cultural monuments.
