Easy....it is not that icy frigid city. In fact Vancouver is one of the most liveable cities in the world. Calgary and Toronto are also both in the list. Nothing from the US. Toasted heads.....see could not even solve their upcoming fiscal cliff

You are absolutely right.....stay where you belong we don't need you here. Otherwise you freeze, and could be fatal. Have you considered to stop drinking cold beer, or eating frozen delights. Hark! Hark! Dost anyone hear a lark bark? Canada has extensive trade ties with the US and the EU. Ohohoho, there are too few people up there freezing their butts off which is why they're not too affected by the economic downturn ... Yet. who says they're immune, ya gotta be kidding me. Oh why wonder there are too few people up there? Coz most folks around are smart enough not to ruin their daily lives by livin in cold ice.

The only Third World desperates who would wanna live there are those who cannot make the grade and directly compete with their smarter peers in the US or the EU. example are the weak doctors who wanna be nurses in the US but can't even make the grade in the US which is why they go to Canada as a sorry ass alternative. it is no secret that many immigrant rejects try again and go to Canada as a backdoor route to the US.

It's actually yer loss that white collar folks of my calibre aren't there. For one, we are not sycophants living off any countries' social welfare like many immigrants around who give immigrants a bad name... a lotta desperate immigrants around try every trick in the book to milk money off the generous welfare systems of the Western countries. It will be my last day tomorrow here in LA. Driving back to Las Vegas for another night before returning to Canada..

Professional with a caliber, so you claim. The way you talked and trashed immigrants speaks volume what caliber you really have.

People/Professionals that bad mouthed Canada are most likely, would be immigrants that are/were not able to make it to the cut. Insufficient credentials, or disqualified. Choices....cross border to the south. Disgruntled, disappointed, and downright frustrated...their only ammunition to get back at Canada....negative and dismissive attack.

I don't know who you really are, but judging by how you expressed yourself, you are acting very much like a child in a sand box, having a fit and tantrum because you just didn't get what you want.

BTW...those people who are ski enthusiast....North Shore mountains ( Grouse Seymour and Cypress)are all open for the ski season. All are located in Vancouver. Also Whistler is another upscale ski resort in the world has opened couple of weeks ago. Not to worry you don't need a high octane caliber to glide through snowy and icy road to the ski slope. All you need is your common sense and respect of nature and other driver. Never defy the law of nature, because no pile of certificates, diplomas, masters or even PhD, could save you from any imminent danger that could be fatal.
