Roman Catholic Liturgical Hymns stringed into one. Yes, we Roman Catholic Philippines are tied with a cultural and religious umbilical chord to the great Mozart. It is a Habsburg umbilical chord, the same family from which His Imperial Royal Highness King Philip II of Spain and the Austrian Monarchs who were patrons of Mozart belong to.

Yes, now if one has the fortitude for nearly an hour of pure Mozart

, one may truly appreciate that whilst our Spanish Era Catholic structures are magnificent, what is more magnificent are the liturgies and hymns conducted therein. As it was of old, these were in Latin.

See if you can recall the Agnus Dei, Sanctus, Benedictus. In terms of intensity, my own personal favourite is the Dies irae

This is the Hymn looping inside my head. The Dies Irae literally is Day of Wrath from the Final Judgment of the Book of the Apocalypse.

In the Requiem I posted above, it begins on Segment 07:55.
