Afriqiyah Airways launches new route from Benghazi to Khartoum

Afriqiyah Airways inaugurated services on the 2,200-kilometre route from Benghazi (BEN) on the Libyan Mediterranean coast, to the Sudanese capital of Khartoum (KRT) on 13 November. The airline, which launched two routes to Tunis on 6 November (four weekly departures from Benghazi and thrice-weekly from Sebha, also in Libya), now offers twice-weekly services from Benghazi to Sudan’s second-largest city. The Sudanese consul, Abdul-Halim Omar, who was flew on the inaugural flight, underlined: “The new service is bound to strengthen trade and economic ties between businessmen and investors in both countries, which previously had no direct air link.” Afriqiyah Airways will deploy A319s to operate the route

منظمة (الطيران المدني الدولي) تشيد بالتزام السودان تجاه السلامة الجوية

تسلّم المهندس محمد عبد العزيز أحمد مدير عام سلطة الطيران المدني، رسالة من السيد ريموند بنجامين الأمين العام لمنظمة الطيران المدني الدولي، أعرب فيها عن تقدير (الايكاو) الخالص للسودان لالتزامه القوي والإجراءات الفعالة التي اتخذها لسد ثغرات السلامة الجوية، وببلوغه هذا المستوى العالي من التنفيذ الفعال للقواعد القياسية والتوصيات الدولية لـ(الايكاو) المتعلقة بالسلامة، وقال: فضلاً عن اتخاذه للإجراءات ذات الصلة فإنّ السودان يسهم إسهاماً عظيماً في تعزيز سلامة الطيران.
ونوه بنجامين خلال الرسالة إلى الجهود التي بذلها السودان من أجل سد ثغرات السلامة الجوية التي حددها التدقيق الذي أجري في نوفمبر 2006م في إطار برنامج (الايكاو) العالمي لتدقيق مراقبة السلامة الجوية وفقاً للنهج التجميعي الشامل، وبعثة التحقق المنسق التابعة لـ (الايكاو) التي أوفدت في ديسمبر 2011م في إطار نهج الرصد المستمر لبرنامج (الايكاو) العالمي.
وقال: أثبت السودان اتخاذه لإجراءات حاسمة من أجل إجراء تغييرات إيجابية في نظام مراقبة السلامة الجوية وفقاً للأحكام الواردة في ملاحق اتفاقية شيكاغو والإجراءات ذات الصلة، وأبان ان الدولة على اتصال مستمر وفعّال بـ (الايكاو) وهي تستكمل بانتظام خطة عملها التصحيحية بفضل النظام المتكامل لتحليل اتجاهات السلامة والإبلاغ بشأنها. وأضاف: كما أوردت الدولة فقد نفذت تماماً الإجراءات التصحيحية الرئيسية المقترحة في خطة العمل التصحيحية لتشمل كل المجالات الفنية بعد التدقيق الذي تم بموجب النهج التجميعي الشامل. وتابع: من أجل التحقق من التقدم المحرز أوفدت بعثة التحقق المنسق في ديسمبر 2011م، وقد تمّت مُعالجة أوجه قصور الدولة في التنفيذ الفعال، وانخفضت نسبة قصور التنفيذ من (51%) الى (31%)، وقد تم تحديد شاغل واحد من شواغل السلامة الرئيسية المتصلة بعملية الترخيص وإصدار سلطة الطيران المدني لشهادات المشغلين الجويين.
وزاد: بعد التنفيذ الفوري للإجراءات التصحيحية التي اقترحها السودان لمعالجة شاغل السلامة الرئيسي المذكور تم إيفاد بعثة ثانية في مايو 2012م، وقد تحققت البعثة من معالجة الشاغل بنجاح.

الطيران المدني: (400) وظيفة بالهيكل الجديد

الخرطوم

كشف المهندس محمد عبد العزيز مدير سلطة الطيران المدني، عن صدور قرارات من رئيس الجمهورية بتكوين مجالس الإدارات لـ(سلطة الطيران المدني، شركة مطارات السودان القابضة، شركة مطار الخرطوم الدولي، شركة المطارات الولائية وشركة هندسة المطارات).
وأكد عبد العزيز، إكتمال الفصل بين الجسم الرقابي والتشغيلي، وقال إنّ الطيران المدني وفّق أوضاعه تبعاً للمعايير الدولية، وأوضح أن خطوات إستيعاب العاملين إكتملت وفقاً للهيكل الذي يشتمل على (400) وظيفة.
وأبان عبد العزيز أن المرحلة الحالية تمثل قاعدة إنطلاق جديدة للقطاع، تترتب عليها نهضة كاملة في صناعة الطيران والنقل الجوي، وإدارة المنافسة بين الشركات وجودة المطارات وتعزيز إقتصاديات النقل الجوي.
وأعتبر عبد العزيز التحولات الأخيرة تتويجاً للخطوات التحضيرية خلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية، بدءاً من إستراتيجية الطيران المدني وقانون تنظيم الطيران المدني وخطة إعادة الهيكلة وبرنامج التقاعد المبكر، الذي إستفاد منه (1400) عامل بالطيران المدني.

وزيرالنقل والطرق: الدولة مهتمة بتطوير العمل والنهوض بالشركة
تواجه شركة الخطوط الجوية السودانية الناقل الوطني عدداً من الصعوبات التي تحد من تطورها، والتي تتمثل في المديونية وقطع الغيار، وأكد وزير النقل والطرق والجسور د. أحمد بابكر نهار اهتمام الدولة بتطوير العمل والنهوض بالشركة.

جاء ذلك خلال اطلاع نائب رئيس الجمهورية د. الحاج آدم على سير العمل بوزارة النقل والطرق والجسور وأداء الهيئات والمؤسسات التابعة لها والذي قدمه وزير النقل والطرق والجسور، مشيداً بالنجاحات التي حققتها شركة الخطوط الجوية السودانية في نقل الحجيج السوداني عبر رحلات منتظمة.


وأوضح الوزير في تصريح لسونا أن اللقاء تناول الجهود المبذولة لترقية السكة حديد، مشيراً إلى مجهودات وزارته في تأهيل خط سكة حديد الخرطوم - عطبرة بورتسودان وخط الخرطوم - مدني - سنار بجانب سير العمل في خط سكة حديد الخرطوم - كوستي - بابنوسة - أبوجابرة - الضعين- نيالا.


وأضاف نهار أنه أطلع نائب رئيس الجمهورية أيضاً على العمل الذي يجري في تأهيل الطرق القومية، مبيناً أن العمل في تنفيذ طريق الإنقاذ الغربي مرتبط بعملية التمويل، داعياً إلى ضرورة تحريك القرض الصيني وذلك للإسراع في تكملة الطريق.

Gulf Air Service Reductions Jan – Mar 2013

Gulf Air starting 21JAN13 is reducing frequencies on a number of routes, including the following.

Bahrain – Chennai Service reduce from 14 to 13 weekly
Bahrain – Colombo Service reduce from 10 to 9 weekly
Bahrain – Copenhagen Service reduce from daily to 6 weekly
Bahrain – Dhaka Service reduce from 12 to 10 weekly
Bahrain – Frankfurt Service reduce from 12 to 10 weekly
Bahrain – Kathmandu Service reduce from 14 to 10 weekly
Bahrain – Khartoum Service reduce from 11 to 7 weekly

All service reductions are in effect until 30MAR13 for the moment.

Etihad Airways Celebrates UAE National Day in Khartoum

Etihad Airways participated with the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Sudan, the UAE 41st National Day celebration on Monday 3 December 2012 at Alsalam Rotana Hotel, with an ample presence of Ambassadors, Businessmen and iconic people in the society.

Mohamed Noman – General Manager of Etihad Airways Sudan - Said: "As the national carrier of the State, Etihad Airways is proud to participate in the National Day celebrations and carrying the message: "The Spirit of Etihad" from Abu Dhabi to the whole world. Etihad Airways Increases Khartoum Services to Daily

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, increased its Khartoum services from five flights per week to daily starting from January 3, 2013.
Etihad launched its services to the Sudanese capital since July 2006 with an initial three flights per week, gradually increased to daily service in 2013.
The new services on Thursdays and Saturdays caters to the growing demand between Sudan and Abu Dhabi and enhances connectivity between Sudan and Etihad’s network of over 36 destinations in Asia, the Indian Subcontinent and Europe via Abu Dhabi.
Peter Baumgartner , Etihad Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Khartoum has been performing strongly since we launched the route in 2006, and the latest increase is indicative of the huge confidence we have in this important market.
“We have steadily increased frequencies on the route in line with demand, not only on the Khartoum-Abu Dhabi route, but also via Abu Dhabi to and from our destinations in the Far East, such as China.
Etihad operates a two cabin A320-200 to Khartoum, configured to carry 136 passengers, with 16 in Business class and 120 in Economy class.

NASAIR INTRODUCES NEW ROUTES

Nasair will strengthen its presence inside the Kingdom with new domestic destinations Taif & Yanbu from Riyadh and Dammam respectively.
Additionaly, the airline will offer new international flights from Taif to Kuwait and from Dammam to Khartoum. This strategic move comes in response to the desire of many Nasair customers in Saudi Arabia to strengthen the internal & regional presence.

Nasair announced its flights to Taif from Riyadh starting on Feb 18th, 2013 with 3 flights weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The same to Yanbu from Dammam with 3 flights weekly.

Nasair Chief Executive Officer Captain François Bouteiller, said: “These new routes and destinations in both Taif & Yanbu reflects nasair national strategy to meet our customers’ needs, also the importance of the city of Taif as a futuristic hub of operation for nasair as it represent an important touristic hub in addition to its geographical location as a gate to Makkah that serve both domestic and international pilgrims which will lead to expansion of nasair network across the inside Saudi Arabia and cross region". He added “Taif New destination will not only serve nasair local customers, but it will also serve nasair customers in Kuwait with 3 flights weekly between Taif and Kuwait starting on the Feb 18th, 2013”.

Capt. François also added that Nasair since its launch in February 2007 has transported more than 10 million passengers and is a pioneering ‘Smart Airline’ thanks to its on Time performance, competitive Fares, and unique Services affordable to passengers through more than 640 weekly flights covering 28 destinations both within and outside Saudi Arabia.

وأعلن في تصريح لسونا أن سلطة الطيران المدني الإتحادية وافقت علي إنشاء المطار في المكان المحدد له بالولاية وإن وزارة التخطيط من جانبها برأت مساحة المشروع والتي تبلغ (66) مليون متر مربع خالية من الموانع، مؤكدا أن المنطقة التي بها المطار تتوسط المشاريع الزراعية والطرق القومية ومصادر الثروة الحيوانية .

وأوضح أن هنالك عدد من الشركات تقدمت لإنفاذ المشروع وإن الباب مازال مفتوحاً أمام الشركات والجهات الراغبة في إنشاء مطار الجزيرة بود المهيدي للتنافس.

وإستعرض الوزير الفوائد التي تعود علي الولاية من هذا المشروع الضخم ، موضحاً أن موافقة سلطة الطيران المدني علي المشروع تعزز من فرص الولاية في إختيار الجهة المنفذة بدقة الشي الذي يعود علي إنسان الولاية بمزيد من التطور الإقتصادي والإجتماعي .
